Asst. Instrument Maintenance Engineer – Singapore
As an Instrument/Quality Measuring Instrument (QMI) Field Execution Engineer/Assistant Engineer, you will be based in Shell Pulau Bukom under the Maintenance Department with key accountabilities as the following:
Provides day-to-day hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting including contractor/ specialist management for all Instrument/QMI maintenance-related matters.
Responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance works and ensuring plant equipment availability including instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, and the control system.
Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment by calibrating instruments, replacing components, and conducting routine checks.
Develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures to ensure system integrity and performance.
Analyse and interpret control system data to identify potential issues and optimize system performance.
Support the development and implementation of upgrades and modifications to the instrument and control systems.
Qualification:
Assistant Engineer position: Minimum NITEC Level 2 certification in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical
Engineer position: Minimum Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical
3-5 years of relevant experience in Instrument construction/ Maintenance in oil & gas, chemical/ petrochemical, or related industries.
Knowledge of basic control systems and/or functional logic is an advantage.
Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot instrument and control system malfunctions.
Experience with calibration of industrial instrumentation.

The Associate Engineer – PTM is an experienced (2 – 5 years) process engineer tasked with remote monitoring and process performance reporting for chemical processes. The engineer plays a critical role in early detecting and alerting production performance issues and supports the continuous improvement of the production process.
Qualification:
University Degree in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 2-5 Years of work exp. after Graduate Degree & overall working experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemicals.
Operations and Maintenance experience working in offshore facilities plants in disciplines like process or instrumentation or mechanical or wells.
Proficient in reading P&IDs and a good understanding of process narratives and manuals
Good discipline knowledge either of process(chemical) or of wells and subsurface to enable monitoring of wells. Should be able to practically apply that to the proactive monitoring work process.
