Job Designation: Software Front End Developer

Salary : 12 LPA – 18 LPA

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree

Experience:  Freshers / 0 – 2 years

Skill Set :

  1. Strong skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming, and System integration.
  2. Strong skills in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Concepts.
  3. Hands on knowledge of any one RDBMS, RESTFul API.
  4. Good knowledge of Core Java 8/11, Java Enterprise Edition 6 (e.g. EJB, JMS, JPA, MDB, JAX-RS) and other middleware frameworks such as Apache Camel and Spring, multi-threading, and unit testing.
  5. Strong understanding of application server configurations.
  6. Must have strong skills in building processes such as Maven.
  7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description :

The role is to perform activities related to the development, code review, deployment support and maintenance of new, or existing, Barclays software applications and information systems as per the key accountabilities

  1. Understand of agile development methodology and practice it in day-to-day work.
  2. Ensure DevOps principles are adopted in applications.
  3. Undertake impact assessment of change requests/incidents against applications/products within the domain.
  4. Working as part of scrum teams, delivering technical stories within sprint cycles.
  5. Responsible for story-based development & unit tests and adherence to all coding standards.
  6. Responsible for high-quality code that achieves consistent SQALE A rating with no technical debt within SonarQube.
  7. Application development.
  8. Contribute strongly to all agile ceremonies (planning/stand-ups / retro etc.) to ensure high velocity is maintained.
  9. Document all work by agreed standards, and with re-use in mind.
  10. Report progress against assigned activities promptly.
