Data Engineering Intern – X Delivery – Europe 

Job Description:

You will collaborate with teams to gather requirements, specify, design, develop, deliver, and support industrialized solutions serving client needs. You will provide technical support through a deep understanding of relevant tools and processes to build high-quality and efficient technology solutions.

Technical Skills:

Python, PySpark, SQL
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, Redis, etc)
Spark or other distributed big data systems (Hadoop, Pig, Hive, etc.)
Data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.)
Unix-based command line & development tools
Version control (e.g. Git)

Functional Skills:

Data Modeling for Analytics and decisions
Selecting and integrating Big Data tools
Implementing ETL process(s) across on-premises and cloud architectures
Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes

Qualification

Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, engineering/technology, or equivalent

Engineer (ML) – BCG X – India

Job Description:

Build technology stack for AI/ML use cases from concept to production deployment.
Build data pipelines and ingestion of structured & structured data for model training.
Create Generative AI pipelines & technology stack e.g., orchestration, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, etc.
Deploy AI/ML models into production and build an API layer for application integration.

Qualifications:

Very high proficiency in Python programming language, and knowledge of other languages.
such as R, and Java would be a plus.
Knowledge of various AI/ML models including deep learning models.
Knowledge of Generative AI stack – Large Language Models / Foundation Models, vector databases, orchestration stack.
Hand-on experience in building AI orchestration with frameworks like LangChain.
Knowledge of vector databases e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, etc.
Deep understanding of data processing frameworks e.g., Data Bricks, Airflow, etc.
Knowledge of API frameworks Django, Flask, etc.
Understanding of cloud data & AI stack on AWS / Azure / GCP is preferred.

Social Impact PA Analyst – India

Job Description:

We are seeking a strong candidate with initiative and aptitude in analytics and organizational operations to fill this position. Interest in Finance, Business Intelligence, People, and social impact is integral for success in the role.

The position will report to the PA People Director based in Paris and the PA Finance Director based in Amsterdam.

Support the People & Operations and the SI Investments & Business Intelligence Teams with tasks relating to our People & Business intelligence such as:

Assist with our SIPA affiliation review and update of the BCG Practice Area Affiliation Database

Assist with updating and improving our People KPIs (growth, billability, deployment, etc…)

Review project information on cases to identify the relevant impact areas.

Research and identify the sectors and typology for all new SI PA clients.

Improve the level of automation on the flow of data for People and Finance business intelligence.

Help service charge code creation and change requests for SI Investments

Contribute to ad-hoc people & operations or finance-related tasks and projects

for instance, related to our internal people programs, learning and development activities, global or regional events organization, internal process management, etc.

Qualification:

Demonstrated aptitude through strong academic performance and/or prior temp work/intern experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications – knowledge of analytical tools and languages such as Tableau, Alteryx, VBA, and Python is a plus

Project management skills, rigor

Organized, detail-oriented, and strong analytical skills

Good interpersonal and communication skills

High level of initiative and resourcefulness

English fluency

Research Analyst – Data & Research Services – India

Job Description:

As a Research Analyst within BCG’s Data & Researcher Services team, you would provide secondary research in support of proposals, client cases, and business or IP development initiatives, with specialization in Public Sector and Social Impact sub-topics such as Public and Global Health, Education, Employment and Welfare, and Global Development. You will be responsible for delivering on a variety of requests throughout the day.

Developing topic knowledge and industry expertise
Customer and team orientation
Utilization and development of tools and technology
Working flexibly in a fast-paced environment

Qualification:

2-3 years relevant working experience, with some proficiency in Public Sector and Social Impact sub-topics especially Public and Global Health
Sound understanding of sector and databases such as Oxford Economics, EIU, Euromonitor and Government resources is necessary.
Bachelor’s degree with a strong preference for analytical programs (e.g. economics, public policy, public health). Master’s degree is preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent English
