Technical Marketing Engineer (Full Time) – United States
Responsibilities include:
Driving the future technical product direction.
Serving as a technical consultant in customer calls and meetings.
Collaborating closely with the field, key Systems Integrators, Engineering, and Cisco Technology Partners in an Agile environment.
Utilizing automation or cloud software to enable next-generation network design and architectures.
Developing automated methods to manage the network and enhance our customer’s user experience.
Constructing messaging about key customer challenges and the benefits of Cisco’s solutions based on use cases.
Creating documents and presentations with technical details for products, technologies, and solutions.
Traveling to deliver training to customers, partners, and sales teams both domestically and internationally at events and customer locations.
Qualifications:
Passion for technology, computer networking, and automation.
Self-starter with a passion for groundbreaking technology and driving change.
Strong sense of ownership, adept at transforming ambiguity into tangible outcomes, collaborating across all functions and matrixed teams.
Belief in leadership happening at all levels and the conviction that we are better together than individually.
Including but not limited to:
A graduate or upcoming graduate of a technical degree or certification program from a Technical Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College, or 4-year University.
Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions.
Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to comprehend sophisticated technical situations and related business challenges, and the capacity to communicate these technologies clearly to customers and sales teams.
Desired experience in DevOps programming and scripting, preferably in Python, Linux, or another programming language.
