Program Overview:
The Eaton Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program is a two-year program that involves two unique, 12-month assignments across different businesses and two different countries and Eaton locations. Both assignments are in the Engineering area.
The main job role will be Project Engineer working on our Connectors & Interconnection Systems product for our Aerospace business.
Qualifications:
Currently possesses, or will have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process / Manufacturing Engineering with a graduation date no later than August 2024
Work or internship experience (1-3 years of experience)
Ideally some airspace product knowledge
Ideally experience using PLM tool
Project Management and organization skills

Program Overview:
Passion for technology meets keenly managed business processes in the Eaton Development Program – Information Technology.
This two-year rotational program consists of two 6—month assignments and one 12-month assignment across 2 different countries within the EMEA region.
The program is strategically designed to provide emerging talent knowledge and skills that will accelerate technical and business learning.
Development is accomplished through a variety of on-the-job experiences, professional networking and business learning.
The IT function is broad and this program will provide you with experiences which form the backbone for service delivery at a premier industrial diversified manufacturer.
Potential assignments include roles in:

Qualifications:

Associate Engineer- Ecodesign – India
Job Description:
The Associate Engineer will be supporting Product Environment profiles (PEP) / Environmental Product declarations (EPDs) through life cycle assessment (LCA) and Design for Environment for New Product Introduction, compliance (climate and environmental regulations) for Eaton’s broad portfolio of electrical products.
This work will help business across the enterprise meet customer requests related to Life Cycle Assessment, address regulatory challenges and create sustainability value propositions to gain additional business opportunities.
1. Execute detailed Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies as per ISO 14040 & 14044 to evaluate environmental impacts of Eaton electrical products followed by 3rd party verification to publish type-III Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) with support of Engineers.
2. Support development of modular LCAs & creation a library of Eaton standard components & processes.
3. Support the product engineering teams on the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions associated with the electrical product’s lifecycle.
4. Support evaluation of compliance in accordance with applicable eco-design related regulations (e.g. EU-ErP Directive)
5. Understand customer requirements and communicate to other Eaton teams
6. Provide regular reports on development and support activities.
7. Support Design-For-Environment activities for new product development projects
8. Contribute to continuous process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Enviornmental science or Chemical/Mechanical/ Electronics /Electricals engineering
Bachelors with 0-3 years’ experience in the areas of Sustainability domain, Product or technology
development for Industrial, Electrical/Electronic or Chemical products or process.
1. Need to have sound fundamental engineering knowledge.
2. Has a basic understanding of requirements related to eco-design regulations.
3. Has an understanding of Life Cycle Assessment standards (ISO 14040/44/25)
4. Has experience of conducting LCA as per the specific rules as (ISO14040/44/25).
LCA according to PEP-EcoPassport Product Category Rules/ Product Specific Rules will be bonus.
5. Basic understanding on REACH, RoHS, Prop65 and other applicable regulations and its impact on product and technology will be added advantage.
6. Comfortable dealing with data and Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
7. Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts.

Controls Support Engineer – Entry Level – USA
Job Description:
Support Naco production by answering technical and product definition data (PDD) questions, and resolving build and test questions.
Main area of focus will be controls but position will also provide support to coil winding, stacking, component and unit assembly, and component and unit test.
Attend tier meetings. Act as a liaison between Production and Engineering both in Naco and Badger.
Evaluate and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and issue Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to modify PDD.
Ensure product is built and tested to Industry, Quality and Engineering design standards.
Maintain PDD data such as drawings, bills of materials, and characteristics.
Implement design changes in the shop, ensuring changes are implemented with minimal issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
0 – 3 years of relevant experience in electromechanical products and embedded control systems
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
