Grid Solutions Graduate Engineer – UK, Europe 

This role is part of Grid Solutions’ Engineering Graduate Program, an Engineering pipeline scheme aiming at providing fast-tracked opportunities to develop young Engineers’ technical know-how, operational skills, and leadership capacities.

Job Description:

You will be working with different teams on various engineering studies, designs, simulations, or tests according to your rotational stages. You will also be given laboratory activities or even commissioning experiences on our global project sites.

As a program participant, you will work together with other fellow graduate engineers to design, execute, and present the results of a group project to the executive managers of the business, where you develop knowledge and strengthen capabilities in project and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

We are looking for fresh graduates in related engineering fields, such as power electrical, electronics, controls, or mechanical engineering.

Though a master’s degree is preferred, your commitment to development and willingness to learn is of more importance to us.

Knowledge of power systems, power electronics, high voltage engineering, Matlab/Simulink, AutoCAD, or C/C++ Embedded/Real-time development experiences would be an advantage.

The existing right to work in the countries for these positions is mandatory. GE does not provide visa or re-allocation support for these positions.

Control Automation System Engineer – India

Job Description:

The role will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. You will be part of a team that defines the network configuration of an HVDC control system as part of a project delivery team.

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or related field.
Strong background in configuring Substation Bay Controllers/Merging Units/ IEC61850 IEDs
Experience in Control Panel design (preferably as used in substation/power plant environments)
Strong background in Distributed Control Systems / Substation Automation
Experience in working with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, e-base, Microsoft Visio
Knowledge of industrial communication networks such as Profibus and Ethernet-based protocols.
Understanding of fiber optic cabling systems
Understanding of LV cable sizing and distribution
Control & Protection Relay logic Design techniques
Experienced in developing electrical designs for industrial control systems.

Electrical Product Engineer- 2024 Opportunity – United States

Job Description:

The Electrical Product Engineer serves as a liaison between production, aftermarket, and design engineering teams. The Product Engineer’s mission is to create and sustain world-class avionics manufacturing by focusing on key areas of cost, delivery, and quality. He/she will support four key activities:
1) Daily tactical factory support.
2) Manufacturing and product sustainment and improvement projects.
3) Improve hardware test methods and hardware design for testing.
4) Support next-generation test equipment platform developments and deployment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college.

Circuit analysis, testing, and hands-on debug exposure.

Experience or exposure to one or more of the following:
