Engineering Graduate Trainee – Malaysia

Job Description:

Intel’s GT plays a vital role in our design and development center. We don’t see you as a student but as an integral part of our team. You will be involved in the design, validation, and integration of next-generation intellectual property (IP) and interfaces for various computing devices. You will work in a challenging, fluid, and dynamic environment with a diverse team of engineers who are delivering customized and optimized digital design logic. Your day-to-day activities typically involve close collaboration with engineers who are delivering technical solutions spanning most of the ASIC flow.

Graduate Intern – Canada

The job of the Graduate Intern will be to advance the state of the art in processor microarchitecture, architecture. Responsibilities will be technical and include working with a detailed CPU performance simulator. Job assignments are usually for the summer or short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications:

Must be pursuing a master’s or PhD in Computer Architecture or any STEM degree
1+ months of experience or knowledge of processor microarchitecture

Preferred:

Processor pipelines, advanced branch prediction, prefetching, register renaming, etc.
C++ and Python programming knowledge or experience is a plus.

Graduate Technical Intern – USA

Job Description

As part of the Product Enablement Solutions Group, our team specializes in transistor-level simulation for analog and mixed-signal designs. Our home-grown circuit simulator, housing Intel’s critical transistor model, serves as the golden reference for process design kit development. In addition over the years, the team has developed a set of unique computer-aided design (CAD) capabilities widely used in Intel silicon design across multiple technology nodes, including scalable multi-threaded nonlinear system solution, parasitic estimation, RC reduction, optimization, process impact assessment on analog IP, and ML-based modeling approach. Closely working with a highly skillful team, you will participate in a broad set of solution development, including (but not limited to) the validation of new methods for the analysis of modern process effects and quantifying their impact on silicon designs. Large-scale datamining on netlist/layout to guide the data-driven development Writing software testing modules to automate validation and datamining. This internship will run for 3+ months.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in an MS/Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computation Mathematics/Science,
6 months of knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:

Numerical analysis/algorithms
C/C++/MATLAB/ Python
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in modeling/simulation, optimization, machine learning, and associated software development
Knowledge of Experience Design Automation circuit simulator and interconnect modeling tools, a plus
Experience with the Linux operating system
Experience with scripting

Tax Analyst – Costa Rica

Job Responsibilities :

The analyst will prepare, pay, file, and archive timely monthly, quarterly, and annual US sales and use tax returns.
Gather necessary documentation to support state sales and use tax audits.
Prepare internal use tax calculations and journal entries.
Perform SAP tax maintenance, and respond to both internal and external business partner communications.
Assist on special projects and support Intel’s vendor tax short pay process to keep Intel legal.

Software Application Development Engineer – Costa Rica

Job Description:

We are looking for a full-stack developer who will be responsible for developing and designing APIs, databases, and UI, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

You will also work with other developers to optimize the application as necessary to establish best practices. You will help solve all application and database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.

This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end-users or integrated with other applications by ISVs.
Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications.
Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or any other related field
1+ years of experience in:
Programming, with strong proficiency in React. NET core, RDBMS, No, SQL, or equivalent technologies
Advanced English level

Preferred:

Experience in one or more of the following:

React JS
API integration knowledge
Application and system security
Good understanding of a modern state-of-the-art cloud platform, and related technologies
