Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Salary Range:- Financial Analysis IC2 – The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $50,200 – CAD $97,200 per year.
Job Description:-
Data Analysis: Dive into financial data, extracting meaningful insights to guide strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, gaining a holistic view of Microsoft’s financial landscape.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, offering financial expertise to support various business initiatives.
Required skills:-
Previous co-op internship experience with Microsoft Finance organization in Canada preferred.
At least one year of classroom and/or finance internship work experience in financial risk analysis with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Competency in MS Office, especially in Excel including pivot tables; certifications or relevant coursework preferred.
Power BI /Tableau or other data visualization experience preferred.
SQL/R/Python or other programming/data science experience preferred.
Proven ability, experience, and overall understanding of fundamental finance and accounting acumen including data modeling, data analytics, FP&A, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting.
Capable of working with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment .
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple business partners and teams.
