Trading Analyst – Europe

Job Description:

Work closely with sales & trading team to assist with post-trade processing

Cover SPG products such as ABS, CMBS, RMBS, CLO, Whole Loan, Agency MBS

Assist the trading desk to resolve trade booking and settlement issues

Assist the trading desk in cleaning up risk issues, consolidating executed documentation, and with counterparty due diligence, vendor onboarding

Performing client data mining analysis and reporting to Sales and Trading on findings

Work according to NY markets hours

Qualification:

Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration

0-2 years of experience in the financial industry or in a support function

Solid numerical skills

Excel / VBA for spreadsheet analysis work

Self-motivation, confident personality, attention to details, ability to handle pressure

Excellent English communication skills.

You might also have:

Relevant working experience on a sales or trading desk

Understanding of basic Fixed Income products including Mortgage Backed Securities

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Shared Services and Banking Operations to be a member of the Cash Liquidity and Funding team who is responsible for critical funding aspects across all business entities for the Americas.

Job Requirement:

Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision

Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests

Associate – Trade Surveillance (Legal and Compliance) – India

Job Description:

Review and analyze surveillance reports/ alerts

Escalate unresolved issues or potential violations of the Morgan Stanley’s policies or external rules and regulations to his/her Manager, Coverage Compliance and Senior Management of the Business Unit

Participate in defining and documenting the operating procedures for processing Monitoring reports

Create Management Information Reports on a periodic basis

Work with IT and / or vendors in enhancing/ developing new tools

Experience:

0 – 7 years of relevant working experience in the financial services industry in Compliance or internal audit or with a securities exchange or securities regulator;

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in Trade Surveillance/ Control Group

Job Description:

Work with fixed income research strategists globally to develop and maintain data analysis infrastructures

Acquire, clean, maintain, and analyze data sets to identify trends and patterns

Develop quantitative models using econometrics and machine learning algorithms

Build web applications to monitor market movements and develop interactive tools to make quantitative models user friendly

Respond to bespoke data analysis requests from clients and internal stake holders

Automate delivery of reports and data-packs to clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or Economics
