Job Openings: Design Engineers in Transmission Domain
Experience Range:
- 2 – 6 Years (Design Engineer/Sr. Design Engineer)
- 8 – 10 Years (Tech Lead)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. Mechanical
Job Responsibilities:
- Benchmarking of Transaxle and Driveshaft aggregates.
- 3D modeling and Drawing preparation in Creo.
- DMU packaging checks.
- Preparation of 4D documents, TPL preparation, and release in PLM.
- Coordination with internal agencies and suppliers.
- Preparation of drawings with tolerance stack-ups and GD&T.
- Coordination with different departments for benchmarking.
- Sizing and modeling of components with consideration of vehicle packaging constraints.
- Support for PLM Engineering BOM creation and Release.
- Coordination with IDT and ODT for test sample readiness and Test execution.
- Assistance in ICR / VAVE activities from Idea Generation to implementation.
- Coordination with aggregate suppliers for Design Data Exchange and Test Samples Development.
- Raise indents to proto planning for proto parts development and coordination during development activities.
- Support in component suppliers for DFM / developmental issues.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and Drawing preparation in Creo.
- PLM E-BOM and Release Activities, DFMEA, Failure Investigation.
- Good knowledge of Transmission aggregates.
- Knowledge of GD & T & Tolerance Stack up.
- Knowledge of major component manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of processes like DFM / DFA / DFS and Design for Cost and Reliability.
- Preferably from the Automobile Industry.
